2NE1 Releases New Song on the 21+World Tour Concert Next Year, 'Double Luck'

Korean Girl band 2NE1 has announced a plan to disclose their new song “Missing You” and to hold a world tour concert in 2014.

In the morning on the 18, 2NE1 announced their plans on YG’s official blog (www.yg-life.com), through “Ssangbak TV”. In the video which was made in the format of a press conference, Bom says “Beginning from March 2014 in Seoul, 2NE1 will go and see our fans around the world, visiting China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan.

About the new song to which many fans are looking forward, Bom said, “We will disclose the new song at midnight on the 21 and its title is “Missing You”. Because it has an atmosphere which goes well with late night, we decided to release it at midnight.” Sandara added, “I cried while recording this song, so I even used a whole box of tissues.”

Bom went on to say, “The song is very emotional, which expresses our hearts.” She also made fans feel curious, by saying “The song is melancholic, but surprisingly, one of the member’s costume fee for the music video was zero.”

As the video had the format of a press conference, 2NE1 answered fans’ questions, in a Q&A session. To a question about the exact release date of the new album, 2NE1 suggested that the date has yet to be decided, by saying “Frankly, we don’t’ know. No one knows.” To a question by CL, who acted as a reporter in the video, “Will the album be released before the tour concert?”, Sandara acted as if she was upset, saying “Why do you think we know that?”

At the end of “Ssangbak TV”, the teaser video of “Missing You” was disclosed, to the surprise of many fans. Snow is falling in the background and the four members in stylish look appear in a slow motion, with a part of “Missing You” as background music. Beautiful harmony by the four members is catching ears of many fans in the teaser video, heightening expectations for the new album.
