Introduction
Who is Yutaki James?

Dubbed himself as 'KING OF CAMWHORE' doing self-photography, publishing online and offline (I mean the real one!) photobook, loves travel, likes typography, engaged in graphics design and wouldn't deny about his vanity. That's our Yutaki James describe himself publicly most on his social media accounts.

It's one of the best opportunity for urkpop this year to have him featured on this site. Luckily, he openly announced on his blog and other social media accounts the launching of his 3rd Volume of self-produced photobook entitled 'A Flower Boy's Tale' that took him about years in the making and that he let his fans and followers to do a review of his book for some sort of contest upon launching last May 18th.

So guys, here we goes...

About the Book
So first, the online published edition is a the complete edition, 338 pages and the physical photobook is the Best Selection Limited Edition, 288 pages. Therefore 50 more pictures will be exclusively published as he established for his blog.

The photobook is broken into 3 themed chapters with its name, like a tale, and a story-book-styled photobook.

Chapter 1: Sonnets Of A Dandy - Victorian Vintage

Chapter 2: The Flower Tales - Fairy Tale

Chapter 3: Urban boy’s Legend - New Age City

As he explained, there are two major elements on the photobook, role-playing and flowers. Well in fact, in the previous two volumes, role-playing and flowers are present, always present. But in the 3rd book, it become the center focus of the entire book. 3 times more role-playing, 3 times more flowers.

Settings
He mentioned that you could see beautiful sceneries taken in this amazing theme park, called HUIS TEN BOSCH, located in Nagasaki, Japan. This theme park is beyond amazing which he went there at the worst timing, summer that was crazy hot as he expressed. He also assured that if you travel there at the right season, you will enjoy the place to the maximum.

You can also notice how often he changed his hairstyle for the entire photobook. He appeared in permed hair, painted in jack black, pinned his hair up to add new short hair look and a lot more.

Self production in the form of a book are so simple, you can produced your own photobooks and gift or collect them as birthday/anniversary present for your lover, your own cook book, graduation gift to your best friend, baby shower gift or even your kid’s
growing up photo memoir! let’s get creative, since we are the author, we are the boss!

Living with this big dream, I m indeed lucky, I have a lot of friends who help me along the way. I had so been through so much rejections, met so much people who were up to no good, empty promises, last minutes backouts, or try to sell my photobook at their own profit. There were so much time, money, effort, tears and sweat behind self-produced photobook…

The Verdict
Overall, this photobook is absolutely amazing and perfect. Definitely one can ever imagine to have a self-portrait book like a life story of his once in a lifetime. Something that someone could ever dream of. Telling a story of his experience that really meant a lot and considerably irreplaceable.

Yutaki portrayed and expressed himself as one of the most beautiful creature existed in this world. We can deny it but it obviously showed on this photobook in all the photos how good looking he is. And HE NEVER FAILS! Yes I think so. For being unique in style, even in a drama of real life. Never fails to amaze his fans, supporters and followers for all those images he portrayed especially on this very special limited edition of his very own self-produced life-story photobook.
