‘K-Pop Star’s Lee Seung Hoon compares SM, YG, and JYP to movie categories
‘K-Pop Star‘ contestant Lee Seung Hoon participated in an interview in which he compared Korea’s “big three” agencies (SM, YG, and JYP Entertainments) to movie categories.
Lee Seung Hoon stated, “At first, I thought that I wouldn’t fit well with SM but after experiencing training under them, I realized it really fits well with me. So I would call it a movie with an unexpected turn of events.”
“YG is a company I really admire and after experiencing life at the company, I found it to be a very mystical place, which is why I would compare it to a ‘Sci-Fi fantasy movie.’”
“JYP’s warm atmosphere gave me strength when I was going through my most difficult time, so I would call it a ‘family movie.’”
When asked about the most memorable advice he had received on the show, Lee Seung Hoon recalled, “Judge J.Y. Park said during my ‘I Am the Best‘ performance that I should feel the song in my heart first and then create ideas, but I came up with my ideas first and then followed with my heart. I realized then that my performances should be created out of sincerity.”
In related news, Lee Seung Hoon will appear at the ‘Youth Festival‘ in Yeouido, Seoul on the 19th.
