It was recently announced that Dalmatian would finally be returning after a year and five months. They will be releasing a new mini-album titled ‘State of Emergency‘ on May 15th and have also undergone a member change in the group.
Main rapper Day Day has since departed from the group for personal reasons and member Simon will now be taking his place. Dari is still in the military and thus is not able to participate in promotions. Simon was originally supposed to debut with Dalmatian due to unknown reasons but now is back in the game. His teaser photo was the first one to be released and he is definitely some major eye candy. The concept for Dalmatian’s comeback is much more tough than their previous ones, with tattoos, piercings, and skin exposure.
Simon was born to a Korean father and a Japanese mother in Seattle. That being said, he’s fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese. He commented, “It was my lifelong dream to work in the field of music in Korea. I learned about Korean culture through my dad, and did not forget that’s where my roots lie. I’m very honored to have become a member of Dalmatian. I will show you all that I’ve prepared over the years.”
